Youth Performance Training
Grades: 3rd – 6th (must be 8 years old)

The aim of the Youth Performance Training Program is to lay a solid foundation for current and future sports participation. The curriculum for this level of training is specifically designed for athletes that are grades 3rd – 6th (must be 8-years-old).

The goal during this series of one hour training sessions is to improve coordination, balance, and overall fitness. These young athletes will learn and sharpen their skills in the mechanics of running, agility, and footwork, while being introduced to various pieces of speed and agility training equipment throughout the facility. Low-intensity strength training is emphasized with exercises involving the athlete’s own body weight, and power is developed through the application of plyometrics. Additionally, a series of exercises is employed to increase the athlete’s functional movement which in turn aids in injury prevention.

The Varsity Training Program is designed for the middle and high school aged athletes, seeking to maximize their sports performance.

As in all Adrenaline programs, a dynamic warm-up initiates the training session, which is followed by sport specific movement training in one of the three categories: velocity, acceleration or agility. The session continues with a comprehensive strength training routine incorporating power exercises, plyometrics, and total body strength movements. The class concludes with core development and a flexibility routine.

Throughout the athlete’s training duration at Adrenaline, a performance evaluation is conducted at regular intervals to ensure progress. The Adrenaline Varsity Performance Training athlete is fully prepared physically and mentally to perform at their absolute best and often stands out above the rest.
