The addition of the Corona facility to the Adrenaline Athletic Training family, means that our Athlete of the Month is now a two-person award. Each Facility trains some outstanding athletes and we want to recognize both locations by naming one athlete from each location, beginning with our September Athletes of the Month.
First we like to congratulate Melanie Meyer for earning the Adrenaline Athlete of the Month at the new Corona location. Melanie, a 15-year-old swimmer from Corona High School, has been attending Performance Training classes 2 days a week since July of this year.
In that time Meyer has caught the eye of Training Coordinator Hillary Belmont.
"Mel is such a hard worker and has already improved leaps and bounds since she's been here," Belmont said. "More importantly, she is a pleasure to train and definitely improves the attitude of the entire class when she's here."
Not to be out done, Brianna Hardin has also caught the eye of the trainers in Riverside, earning the Athlete of the Month for September. Brianna, a 15-year-old softball player from Riverside Poly High School, has been attending Performance Training and Softball Classes with Head Softball Coach Mindy Cowles since July.
Hardin's efforts have also impressed Training Coordinator Chris Camacho.
"Brianna is such a pleasure to watch lately because she has transformed into a really good athlete," Camacho said. "Every time she comes in she works hard in the performance class, takes a break, then goes to the Softball class.
"I've seen some great changes in her," Camacho added. "She's a pleasure to have in class."
To both Hardin and Meyer we'd like to say congratulations and keep up to great work. The staff at Adrenaline is very proud of the effort to bring to Adrenaline Athletic Training every time train.
