Youth Performance Training

Youth Performance Training
Grades: 3rd – 6th (must be 8 years old)

The aim of the Youth Performance Training Program is to lay a solid foundation for current and future sports participation. The curriculum for this level of training is specifically designed for athletes that are grades 3rd – 6th (must be 8-years-old).

The goal during this series of one hour training sessions is to improve coordination, balance, and overall fitness. These young athletes will learn and sharpen their skills in the mechanics of running, agility, and footwork, while being introduced to various pieces of speed and agility training equipment throughout the facility. Low-intensity strength training is emphasized with exercises involving the athlete’s own body weight, and power is developed through the application of plyometrics. Additionally, a series of exercises is employed to increase the athlete’s functional movement which in turn aids in injury prevention.

Throughout the athlete’s training duration at Adrenaline, a performance evaluation is conducted at regular intervals to ensure progress.

The unique and structured Adrenaline Athletic Youth Training Program provides a great starting point for any young athlete with aspirations of training and playing at the upper levels as they grow.
