Leonard Russell

Director of Training and Head Football Coach

Leonard-newLeonard's experience as an elite professional athlete and extensive knowledge of what motivates an elite athlete sets him apart as a leader in the athletic-training field.  A master at evaluating athletes, Russell's expertise is in helping athletes of all levels exceed in their overall training goals.

Leonard has spent the last decade dedicated to training high school, college and professional athletes.

Playing Experience - Coach Russell attended Long Beach Poly High School, played at Mt. SAC Junior College and finished his college at Arizona State and was named an All-American. He was the Pac 10 Conference Newcomer of the Year. He dominated at all levels and was a first round pick in the NFL Draft in 1991. Coach Russell was an excellent athlete and had tremendous speed for a 240 pound running back (4.39 - 40 Yard Dash). He rushed for nearly 4000 yards in 6 NFL seasons as a running back. Coach Russell loves working with kids and embraces the notion of giving back. He has been "Mr. Adrenaline" since it opened in 2007.

Chantal Millard 

Softball Coach and Training Coordinator 

Chantal MillardCoach Millard attended California Baptist University. She was a 3 time all American athlete. Her total combined batting average for all 4 years was over .400. She received the golden glove award and MVP of the NAIA World Series in 2008. While attending California Baptist University she broke over 10 school records. After college she was recruited to pay in the professional Italian softball Leauge where she played for 2 years. Both years she helped win 2 Italian Championships and was runner up in the European Cup. 


Mindy Cowles

Softball Coach

Coach Mindy CowlesA Riverside native, Mindy played at Riverside Poly High School, lettering all four years. A pitcher for Riverside Poly, Cowles helped lead the 2004 Bears softball team to a CIF Southern Section title and was selected CIF player of the year. Cowles signed with Arizona State University, started in three Women's College World Series and helped the Sun Devils win the WCWS Championship in 2008.

After college, Cowles was recruited into the National Pro Fast pitch (NPF) league and played for the Chicago Bandits, where she finished her season with a NPF championship in 2008. Mindy also played in the European Pro league in 2010 for Des Caserta in Italy and took home the 2010 Italian championship.

Joey Pacheco

Soccer Coach

Joey Pacheco

Coach Joey Pacheco is currently a starting defender for the professional indoor soccer team Ontario Fury. Growing up he played with elite soccer clubs such as Celtic FC and Hotspurs USA Elite. With Hotspurs he traveled to Switzerland to play in the Giffers FC Cup and won the championship. He also traveled to Spain to play in the Costa Blanca Cup and won that as well. In the summer of 2008 he traveld back to Spain to train with the 3rd and 4th division professional team Velez FC. Joey also played for the University of California Riverside and the LA Legends, a United Soccer League team.
