The Adrenaline Sports Academy is proud to announce the 2012 Football Coaching Staff and we are very excited about the Coaches we have on board. They include a variety of individuals from former NFL players to College and High School Coaches. The football training curriculum includes a wide variety of skills from the most basic fundamentals to advanced techniques. With our coaching staff you can be assured that you'll get the best possible Football instruction at Adrenaline Athletic Training.

Leonard Russell
Head Football Coach

Leonard's experience as an elite professional athlete and extensive knowledge of what motivates an elite athlete sets him apart as a leader in the athletic-training field. A master at evaluating athletes, Russell's expertise is in helping athletes of all levels exceed in their overall training goals.
Leonard has spent the last decade dedicated to training high school, college and professional athletes.
Playing Experience - Coach Russell attended Long Beach Poly High School, played at Mt. SAC Junior College and finished his college at Arizona State and was named an All-American. He was the Pac 10 Conference Newcomer of the Year. He dominated at all levels and was a first round pick in the NFL Draft in 1991. Coach Russell was an excellent athlete and had tremendous speed for a 240 pound running back (4.39 - 40 Yard Dash). He rushed for nearly 4000 yards in 6 NFL seasons as a running back. Coach Russell loves working with kids and embraces the notion of giving back. He has been "Mr. Adrenaline" since it opened in 2007.

Vince Ferragamo
Assistant Coach - Quarterbacks
Coach Ferragamo attended Banning High School in Wilmington, where he was an All American and LA City Schools MVP. He starred at the University of Nebraska in 1975 and '76 and was all Big 8 Conference and All American. Coach Ferragamo played in the NFL for nine years and the Canadian League for one. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers. He was the LA Rams MVP in 1980 and 1982 and threw for over 11,000 yards, 76 TD's and completed over 55% of his passes in his career. The highlight of his career came in 1979 when he led the Rams to Super Bowl XIV in which the Rams were leading after three quarters before falling to the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers 31-19.
Ivory Sully
Assistant Coach - Linebackers
Coach Sully prepped at Leonia High School in Leonia, New Jersey. He attended the University of Delaware where he was a star running back. In 2009, Coach Sully was elected into the Fighting Blue Hens' Hall of Fame. Sign in 1979 by the Los Angeles Rams, Coach Sully played nine years in the National Football League and was named to the 1984 NFC Pro Bowl team. A safety, Coach Sully played in the Rams’ secondary for six years, including Super Bowl XIV against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coach Sully played two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before ending his career with the Detroit Lions.
Paco Craig
Assistant Coach - Receivers and Tight Ends
Coach Craig prepped at Ramona High School in Riverside. He was a CIF Football co-champion in 1982 and made All-CIF that season. While at Ramona, coach Craig was All Ivy League in four sports and earned a football scholarship to UCLA. Coach Craig, named the most improved offensive player at UCLA in 1987, won three Pac-10 Titles and two Rose Bowls. Craig was drafted by Detroit in 1988 and played two years in the NFL. Coach Craig was recognized by the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame on its “Wall of Distinction”.
Chris Ferragamo
Assistant Coach - Offensive and Defensive Line
Coach Ferragamo, the older brother of Vince Ferragamo, had a legendary, 45-year football coaching career at Banning High School in Wilmington. Coach Ferragamo led the Banning Pilots to eight LA City Championships, including six in a row from 1976-81. Coach Ferragamo coached hundreds of college and 15 NFL players in his tenure at Banning. After Coach Ferragamo's retirement, Banning High School named the football stadium after him. In 2009, Coach Chris Ferragamo has been selected as an ABC7 / NFL High School Coach of the Week for Southern California.
Bob Nordbeck
Assistant Coach - Quarterbacks
Coach Nordbeck prepped at Riverside Notre Dame High School. After earning a scholarship to the University of the Pacific as a quarterback, Nordbeck ended up playing tight end and offensive live in 30+ games as a collegian. Nordbeck says "I wanted to find a way to get on the field so I was willing to change positions in order to that." Nordbeck was the offensive coordinator at Riverside Poly, where he coached for seven seasons.
Pat Meech
Assistant Coach - Offensive/Defensive Line
Coach Meech prepped at Eisenhower High School in Rialto and earned a scholarship as an offensive lineman to Northern Arizona University. Meech has coached at the Division I College level and was the Head Coach at San Bernardino Valley College from 2004 - 2007. Coach Meech is currently the Offensive Coordinator at SBVC. Coach Meech has been coaching football at a high level for over 20 years. Meech's coaching career has spanned from the University of Wisconsin, RCC and San Bernardino Valley College.
